KENNEDY AUSTIN

I am a multidisciplinary artist who embraces experimentation and versatility. My work spans a wide range of mediums, textures, and tools, reflecting both my creative curiosity and my ever-evolving artistic identity. I have never been confined to a single approach—if something interests me, I explore it fully, and this adaptability is evident throughout my practice. However, as a senior, I have developed a clear vision for my artistic direction. My work integrates themes of youth culture, music, art, and fashion, weaving them together to create pieces that are both dynamic and intentional.

STINKY BRAT is a fusion of accessibility and rebellion, designed to bring the essence of punk culture and the raw energy of the 1970s movement to a modern audience. While staying true to the DIY ethos and subversive aesthetics of punk, it remains approachable and wearable for a broader public. At its core, the brand is more than just clothing—it is a statement, a creative platform that bridges fashion, music, and art. The upcoming collection will spotlight the Artist Collection, a showcase of original designs inspired by my large-scale mural featured in the backdrop. These pieces incorporate diverse mediums such as graphite, charcoal, screen printing, and photography, translating raw artistic expression into wearable works of art. Beyond the garments, the brand extends into a full visual and conceptual experience. Accompanying the collection will be a fashion magazine that delves into the creative process, featuring editorials, behind-the-scenes insights, and cultural discussions that align with the brand’s ethos. A campaign video will further bring the vision to life, capturing the energy, attitude, and storytelling behind each piece.

This is more than just fashion—it is an evolving narrative of art, self-expression, and the spirit of individuality.
