Artist Statement:

“Becoming whole again” explores mental health awareness and the impact of depression, anxiety, and emotional pressure experienced by many young adults today. While acknowledging the weight of these struggles, the project emphasizes that healing and growth are possible.
Through a series of visual prompts and affirmations displayed within a cozy, reflective setting, the work encourages viewers to actively care for their mental and spiritual well-being. Each design serves as a reminder to pray, reflect, care for the mind, and take intentional and practical steps toward healing.
In a culture shaped by constant comparison and internal pressure, many people struggle with fear and toxic thought patterns. “Becoming whole again” reflects the ongoing journey of healing, reminding viewers that even in moments of struggle, there is still life, hope, and the possibility of restoration through healing.
